Our surveyor attended the customer’s property and asked several questions whilst undertaking a full detailed inventory of goods to be moved. Following this visit a formal quotation was produced based on the requirements of the removal and e-mailed to the client. This was followed by a phone call to make sure that the client had received our e-mail and was happy with the quotation provided.
Following the customer accepting our quotation we arranged for packing materials and boxes to be delivered as well as provisionally booking their removal date in our diary.
Once our client had exchanged contracts they called us to confirm their completion and therefor removal date. We call every client the working day before their removal to go through any last minute questions and to arrange payment. The removal was very straight forward and completed in a single day. Our crew arrived at 8:15 and commenced dismantling beds and loading the vehicle. The customer’s property was clear by mid-day and after a final check to make sure nothing was forgotten the crew left for the new address 5 miles away.
The crew grabbed lunch en-route and were fed, rested and prepared for the customer’s arrival once keys became available (around 14:00).
Following a brief discussion with the customer to ascertain where the larger items were to be placed the crew began unloading. All furniture and boxes were delivered and placed in the correct rooms with beds assembled by 16:00. Once their paperwork was signed the crew returned to our depot before 16:30 (a standard 9 hour day).
