We estimated the volume of their goods to require two trucks. Our clients decided to undertake the packing themselves; they saw it as an excellent opportunity to have a de-clutter prior to the move to the new house. In fact, their aim was to reduce the volume.
Due to the large volume, we undertook the move over three phases: The day before completion day, we loaded the first truck with as much of the non-essential goods as possible. We made sure that the family were left with beds, sofas and table as well as essential overnight effects. Upon return to our depot, the vehicle was parked securely inside our warehouse.
Completion day was then reduced to a smaller move made up of essential living items. We had the house cleared by 11am, leaving our clients to run round with a hoover well aghead of the 1pm evacuation time. Upon completion, we delivered these essential goods and reassembled beds. We departed the property at 4:30pm, leaving our client comfortable for the first night in their new home. The day after completion day, we then delivered the balance of goods in a calm and orderly fashion, leaving our client organised and tidy.
